From November 7, we will be serving a winter kaiseki course. Charcoal-grilled zuwai crab is a winter tradition at Kihu-no-sato. Please enjoy the aroma of the charcoal fire and the flavor of the crab this season as well!

 

The standard kaiseki course, “Seasonal Flower Kaiseki,” features a popular menu that includes stone-grilled special Japanese beef sirloin, assorted seasonal dishes, tempura, and rice with crab and radish, in addition to grilled crab. This course becomes more popular every winter because of the crab and meat available. We will entertain you with a hearty 10-course menu.

The “Quality over Quantity” kaiseki course, popular mainly among women and the elderly, is a crab and fugu dish. The course includes char-grilled snow crab, fugu (pufferfish) in a small pot, and zosui (rice porridge) to warm you up from the inside out. This course is recommended for those who want to avoid meat and other foods that tend to fill up the stomach. We offer nine carefully selected dishes.

The most luxurious kaiseki course at Kifu-no-sato, “Luxury Zei no Gozen,” features char-grilled snow crab, Nagi beef (Okayama’s brand beef) grilled on a stone, and five kinds of sashimi including lobster and Spanish mackerel, etc., which are sumptuous for the eyes and palate. We recommend this course for special anniversaries and for those who wish to enjoy a sumptuous meal. We offer a luxurious 10-course meal.
